Public bug reported: Since I've installed Kubuntu Lucid, I could start it two or three times. Now, if I start Kubuntu, I either merely get a black screen or I get a lot of error lines on my screen (I added "verbose" to the kernel parameters myself so these messages appear). They say something like this:

I also tried with the previous kernel that was installed originally, but the result is the same. If you need any further information, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'd happy if I could use Ubuntu again. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ubuntu Lucid crashes at boot time with a kernel panic (fatal exception in interrupt) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/587039 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
