Installation from alternate-beta (Kubuntu) could be finished without any problem.
First reboot after installation reports a few problems: udevd-event: unable to create db file /dev/.udev/.... ([EMAIL PROTECTED]@mice, repeated for [EMAIL PROTECTED]@mouse0 and [EMAIL PROTECTED]@mouse1) I'm using an USB mouse which does work correctly within xorg/KDE. And fsck of my root fs complains: /dev/sdb9: Superblock last mount time is in the future. FIXED. /dev/sdb9 has gone 49710 days without being checked, check forced. 49710 days! The root fs was fresh formatted before I installed this beta test system. Furthermore I must manually change the default language for KDE from "default US English" to German. Althought I selected german language into the boot menu and all install messages appears in german. And Firefox isn't installed by default anymore? -- cannot install from Herd-5 cd, install does hang before it begins https://launchpad.net/bugs/94044 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
