This system is now working as well as it did on 9.04, which is not very well.
Scrolling is broken. If I bring up a window that can be scrolled, and I scroll, only the newly displayed part of the scrolling window is updated, the stuff that should be shifted up or down remains unaffected. If I play a game of Spider 3 decks on AisleRiot, the system hangs when I move the 4th card (picture frozen keyboard dead, but still occasional disk activity). BTW, the system definitely installed i686 packages on this not quite i686 machine.
