Thank you for opening this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. I cannot find this error in the DpkgTerminalLog.txt -- there, all updates completed successfully.
But, looking at bit more at the description, I see this being reported for 10.04 LTS: ProblemType: Package DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: mysql-client-core-5.1 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.1 *but*, a bit later on, this is being reported: ErrorMessage: pacote mysql-client-core-5.1 já está instalado e configurado InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) Note the installation media being reported as Ubuntu 9.10. So, it sounds like you are mixing repositories from (at least) two different Ubuntu versions, which is really not good. As such, I am closing this bug INVALID (not a bug). Please clean up your /etc/apt/sources.list. ** Changed in: mysql-dfsg-5.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: mysql-dfsg-5.1 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- package mysql-client-core-5.1 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.1 failed to install/upgrade: package mysql-client-core-5.1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584168 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
