I would like to add the following information: after I hit the bug (i.e., I try to use the webcam while connected with the wifi dongle) I could not find any other solution than rebooting for returning to a stable state. Removing/inserting kernel modules does not solve the problem; removing/inserting USB cables for webcam and/or wifi adapter does not solve the problem (moreover, "lsusb" reports the wifi adapter even after it is disconneted).
