I would like to second this problem. I'm using 9.10. My files in the Ubuntu One folder don't sync up to the web server or to the other computers. Nautilus shows a connect button but it just flashes when I push it and does not change to "disconnect". The cloud icon in my taskbar claims my files are up to date but the web server has different files on it than the local folder.
I would like to do something like "u1sync --action=clobber-server" to get back on track but the u1sync tool doesn't do anything, it gives no output at all, and it never exits. I tried using "u1sync --diff ~/Ubuntu\ One/" but I received no output at all, the program seemed to be stuck. I tried reauthorizing, reinstalling U1, and rebooting, with no luck. I tried using "u1sdtool" with no luck. If I could get that diff tool to work it would be hugely useful for me as I'm trying to use U1 to organize a bunch of files that are spread across multiple computers and when I have sync problems like this everything gets confusing really quickly. I would like to note that U1 WAS working a few days ago on this computer just fine though the Nautilus bug was still there, as I used this computer to get the files on the web server in the first place, when I started my account. My other computer and laptop run 10.04 which is working much better for U1 and seems to be syncing with the web server just fine. -- files shared in "ubuntu one" folder are not visible on website and do not sync across multiple computers on account. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/570896 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
