Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unp

when trying to unzip a file with greek (or any other non ascii language)
characters there are problems with the produced file name. This is due
to a known encoding flaw in zip files.

eg: try unp on file:
http://www.ops.gr/Ergorama/fileUploads/ypiresiaops/prokirikseis/biografiko.zip

the third file has a problematic name (greek characters) something like
"????գ? ?????ҿӮ? ս??_?.doc"

there is no obvious way to manipulate this file (open, rm, mv ...)

I include a modified script that changes default behaviour and uses 7z
to unzip files, converting filename from a predefined codepage to the
current one.

** Affects: unp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
