  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When saving an existing file stored on a cifs share, OOo creates an
empty file with the same name except an incremental number just before
the .xxxwriter, impress an calc at least are impacted.

SO if you are editing a document called MyDoc.odt, on save a document
MyDoc0.odt with size 0 is created along with the saved document. When
you press save again another is created with name Mydoc1.odt with size
  0.

This is the same bug as reported on http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
  bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=575899

It occurs first in OO 3.2.0.

I have OO on client side (beta2) Kubuntu Lucid 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu3, on
host side Samba (3.4.5) in Debian Squeeze.
