@Jeremy First point is yes. Since thinkpad-acpi now links against alsa .. you can't update lbm to 1.0.23 as it will look for symbols not there and fail to load.
Your on track. Though that patch is actually built on another patch: http://git.alsa-project.org/?p=alsa-kernel.git;a=commit;h=cfd3d8dcf7b4fc783db0806ac3936a7b44735bf7 You can then follow the trail here: http://git.alsa-project.org/?p=alsa-kernel.git;a=history;f=sound/pci/hda/patch_conexant.c;h=e863649d31f5416702f1fa7077679ad80053561a;hb=HEAD Doing this via SRU is best. I have been thinking about piecing together a full patch and test it. Though havn't had a chance yet to do it. But I want to get it done by this week .. if the kernel team would accept in in a SRU. -- Lenovo Thinkpad X201 & T410 & W510 not autoswitching to input mic jack in 10.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/557742 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
