I guess that another way is to fake tun.ko is to copy the dummy.ko as tun.ko, the step shall be like: sudo install /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/net/dummy.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/net/tun.ko sudo depmod -a modprobe tun
