Maybe not a lynx issue either, I checked /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/lynx and found a lot of none-lynx stuff in there, looks more like a filesystem inconsistency. I copied a valid /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/lynx from a friend and everything works fine now. Corrupted file is attached. sincerely, mesrumma
