Is it helpful if I say that I am having the problem too? I run it from the System menu as I have nowhere near enough knowledge to run it from terminal. Every time I try to run it, it never stops "Analysing system." I've tried running it all night with the power settings set so that the hard drive should have stayed on. I've tried running it during a long session where I used the hard drive all the time. Sometimes it lists a few packages, but the window is always greyed out.
If there's anything else I can do, please let me know in detail with any terminal commands written out ready to cut and paste. I haven't used Computer Janitor before. I'm trying it now because I've only just noticed it on the menu and thought that, as I've had Ubuntu for six months and been through three releases, my system may be ready for a clean out. -- Computer Janitor hangs while analyzing system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567027 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
