Public bug reported:

I encounter a lot problems, which may be the consequence of dbus failures.
These problem occurs after logging in gdm and starting gnome :

- gnome-panel freezes after gdm login, and I have to kill it for a new
gnome-panel process to be launched
- gvfs-gdu-volume is crashing and restarting continuously, logs are the
following :

  May 17 17:15:31 xxxxx kernel: [ 9389.845587] gvfs-gdu-volume[28427]:
segfault at c ip 00a830d7 sp bfd186cc error 4 in
libgdu.so.0.0.0[a70000+31000]

- dbus-daemon and udisks-daemon take respectively 26% and 16% of cpu
- powerd is crashing continuously, dmesg is the folloing :

   [7618.340477] upowerd[22097]: segfault at 14 ip 006677f8 sp bff51b80
error 4 in libdbus-1.so.3.4.0[659000+37000]

   - gnome-settings-daemon is failing to call services on DBUS, and
.xsession-error is continuously filled with the following error messages
:

    (gnome-settings-daemon:19905): GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **:
invoking List() failed for type GProxyVolumeMonitorGdu:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.No Reply: Message did not receive a reply
(timeout by message bus

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I think something is really wrong
here with dbus...
Thanks a lot by advance
