With compiz enabled, my mouse cursor occasionally jumps to the centre of
a newly focused window. But it only works half of the time, which makes
it very frustrating and unpredictable.
When it does happen, moving the mouse manually moves the cursor but does
not stop the automatic relocation of the mouse - this leads to the mouse
jumping all over the screen.
Sometimes this happens without focusing on a new window, but clicking on
an already-focused window.
Looks like an intentional feature - but it is quite inconsistent, buggy,
and there is no easy way to turn it off.
