Ok guys, I have a solution, as Jeremy von Hoff underlined, the problem is linked to nvidia drivers, but it is not necessary to downgrade them, because adding this repository (http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppas/27?dist=lucid), nvidia driver and xorg are updated and both suspend and hibernate come back working.
