How about when switching power mode? I.e. going from powered to battery, or from battery to powered. Does /etc/hdparm.conf have any influence here? Is it even supposed to?
I solved my problem by installing laptop-mode-tools and used that to set my hdparm settings. -- [Lucid] hdparm.conf change doesn't have effect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568120 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
