The solution for SiS671/771 video driver, that cause 800x600 resolution problem, is here: sis 671/771 video cards https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/301958 But I got same result with rtl8187se in Kubuntu 10.04 here. Wifi can't connect, with "password fail" and signal in 100%. Curious, for two time, I had connection without change anything in settings!
