1/ This bug should be assigned to the libfprint package 2/ This bug is probably related to this upstream bug: http://lists.reactivated.net/pipermail/fprint/2010-March/001416.html
The upstream package includes a driver for aes1610 device (ID 08ff:1600) but the driver is disabled in the Makefile by default. Enabling it makes it impossible to compile. The is a patch posted in Fedora Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=499732 but it did not make its way to the upstream yet. ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #499732 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=499732 -- aes1600 fingerprint-reader can not be opened https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/552834 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
