Actually, GParted killed my partition with valuable information when I was resizing disk, moving files, resizing again and repeating the procedure. The operation occurred from Ubuntu Live CD and I remember that it was hard to mount and unmount partitions, because even after unmount in GParted partition appeared mounted after scan or something like that.
It was like two years ago, and I could not supply more details now, so from this POV it can be closed. But it was highly negative experience, so to stop spreading FUD I would be nice to ensure that GParted is really improved and that my user story is at least covered with tests. -- GParted destroyed partition table https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223136 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
