Hi Jeremy; well, I just want to say that this bug report it is not anymore
an issue.

Because the problem did not occur again; just downloaded a fresh ISO image
and everything is fine now. I have installed Ubuntu Lucid in my laptop and
desktop computer with no problems at all.

I think that this bug was caused by a buggy ISO image rather than a bug for
itself.
So that's all.
