Nevertheless, upstream has already committed a patch for the .xz
extentions (commit d7397c1e7bbe250d65377794bcdbfec80056358c), should be
available for Ubuntu+1 (Maverick Meerkat, now). If you are willing to,
you can propose a SRU adding this patch in.
