Never mind, I figured this out by changing my approach. I loaded an older version CD of Ubuntu 9.10 and selected the memory test.
I ended up about 61,000 errors from the memory. So I had my wife's older computer and changed their RAM chips and started again with a memory test, not one megging error showed up. bummer. I guess this fixes the memory issue. now to re-try and re-do the installation for mesa. Stay tuned. -- package libglu1-mesa 7.6.0-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573438 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
