Today I've realized something that has certainly something in common
with this bug. When I start qtorrent, which uses an own notification
area icon, what appears first is a fake of the icon that is located to
the right or left of the qtorrent icon, only after a couple of seconds
it changes to the correct image. So for a couple of seconds I see a
doubled icon, one of them is cut on one side in the case if the fake
image is wider than the qtorrent icon.

In another words, it loads something else first, only later it loads the
correct icon. It's always an other icon, depending on what's nearby.
