Hi there, I am with a DELL Precision M60 now, that had the same problem with Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx.
I found a workaround for this laptop in this site: http://www.amitsrivastava.net/2008-03-23-hibernate-suspend-resolved-ubuntu-gutsy-nvidia-dell-vostro/ that consists to add the following option under the “Device” section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, Option “NvAGP” “1″ After restarting GDM, computer resumes successfully now, both from suspend and hibernate states. Note that when coming back from hibernate, splash screen doesn't appears correctly; random color blocks appears for a few seconds, but after that Ubuntu prompts user to unlock screen. -- Suspend to Ram doesn't come back on Dell m6400 in KUbuntu 9.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/520314 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
