Just a quick note - you guys might want some log files to confirm.... I just installed Eft Knot 1 with the desktop CD and everything seemed to install fine. There was no unloading/loading/reloading of modules to get the hard disk recognized this time around. If you'd like some logs or prefer to see what the "alternative install" disc does, let me know and I'll report back. Otherwise it seems this bug may be officially squished. Yay!
