With kernel: Linux venus 2.6.34-020634rc6-generic #020634rc6 SMP Fri Apr 30 10:09:34 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux, the system doesn't lockup, but I get messages the kernel is tainted and I can't do anything with the wireless network until I reboot.
