Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gwibber
The Gwibber starts fine on boot up. The gwibber-service is working in the background fine, I can see new messages come in because of the notification and there is also a small triangle next to 'Broadcast' in the message indicator. The problem is that the Gwibber interface will not appear, either clicking on 'Broadcast' in the indicator or from the menu. This bug appeared after a reboot when I install some updates from last night (9 May 2010). Here are the packages which were updated: Commit Log for Mon May 10 08:32:36 2010 Upgraded the following packages: gnome-keyring (2.92.92.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu3) to 2.92.92.is.2.30.1-0ubuntu1 libgcr0 (2.92.92.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu3) to 2.92.92.is.2.30.1-0ubuntu1 libgp11-0 (2.92.92.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu3) to 2.92.92.is.2.30.1-0ubuntu1 libpam-gnome-keyring (2.92.92.is.2.30.0-0ubuntu3) to 2.92.92.is.2.30.1-0ubuntu1 obexd-client (0.22-0ubuntu1) to 0.22-0ubuntu2 totem (2.30.0git20100413-0ubuntu1) to 2.30.1-0ubuntu1 totem-common (2.30.0git20100413-0ubuntu1) to 2.30.1-0ubuntu1 totem-mozilla (2.30.0git20100413-0ubuntu1) to 2.30.1-0ubuntu1 totem-plugins (2.30.0git20100413-0ubuntu1) to 2.30.1-0ubuntu1 This is the output if I try and open Gwibber from the terminal. e...@ed-desktop:~$ gwibber ** (gwibber:2201): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'WnckWindowState' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' ** (gwibber:2201): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'WnckWindowActions' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' ** (gwibber:2201): WARNING **: Trying to register gtype 'WnckWindowMoveResizeMask' as enum when in fact it is of type 'GFlags' Updating...
