Just FYI, the system has been up running 2.6.34-020634rc2-generic for
~7.5 days now without issue (there were apparently some other reboots
due to moving things about in the user's computer room hence why this
isn't longer by now). I'll let this get to 14 days. If it gets that far,
I'll count 2.6.34 as having fixed this issue; the bug could then be
closed. I guess I'll try the Lucid kernel after that to make sure an
upgrade will pan out OK.
