When I have run that a dialog showed the message "No additional information collected" and back on the terminal "Package xorg-server not installed and no hook available, ignoring".
As for the hardware details, I have attached the output of "lshw -html". Anyhow it seems the problem disappeared, I am not seeing any artifacts anymore.
