apport information ** Package changed: alsa-lib (Ubuntu) => alsa-driver (Ubuntu)
** Tags added: apport-collected ** Description changed: Binary package hint: libasound2 I've updated to Ubuntu 10.04 from Ubuntu 9.10 and now the audio output is heavyly distorted and softer. I've disabled pulseaudio (commented out the pulse.conf in /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf) and checked that the pulseaudio daemon isn't running, but the problems isn't solved. So I suppose that it's an alsa problem. - My hardware configuration is an Intel D945GCLF2 (Atom 330 processor) - with includes a Realtek ALC662 Rev1 codec. + My hardware configuration is an Intel D945GCLF2 (Atom 330 processor) with includes a Realtek ALC662 Rev1 codec. + --- + AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.21. + Architecture: i386 + ArecordDevices: + **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** + card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC662 rev1 Analog [ALC662 rev1 Analog] + Subdevices: 1/1 + Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 + AudioDevicesInUse: + USER PID ACCESS COMMAND + /dev/snd/controlC0: unai 3028 F.... pulseaudio + Card0.Amixer.info: + Card hw:0 'Intel'/'HDA Intel at 0x882a0000 irq 22' + Mixer name : 'Realtek ALC662 rev1' + Components : 'HDA:10ec0662,8086d604,00100101' + Controls : 28 + Simple ctrls : 16 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + Package: alsa-driver (not installed) + ProcEnviron: + LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-22.33-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 + Tags: lucid + Uname: Linux 2.6.32-22-generic i686 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare video + dmi.bios.date: 07/31/2008 + dmi.bios.vendor: Intel Corp. + dmi.bios.version: LF94510J.86A.0099.2008.0731.0303 + dmi.board.asset.tag: Base Board Asset Tag + dmi.board.name: D945GCLF2 + dmi.board.vendor: Intel Corporation + dmi.board.version: AAE46416-101 + dmi.chassis.type: 3 + dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnIntelCorp.:bvrLF94510J.86A.0099.2008.0731.0303:bd07/31/2008:svn:pn:pvr:rvnIntelCorporation:rnD945GCLF2:rvrAAE46416-101:cvn:ct3:cvr: ** Attachment added: "AlsaDevices.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/48044155/AlsaDevices.txt -- Audio distorted in an Intel D945GCLF2 motherboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/576656 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
