The previous print preview was a lot better than that in Lucid Lynx. What it used to do was that it practically made a new pdf and opened it in another window that had all the toolbars and accessories of a normal evince window. That was really great. Because when I wanted to print two pages on a single sheet of paper and then print every odd page of this set of double-pages, I could use the preview feature as an intermediary. That's now impossible since the new preview allows no further options on printing.
