Lionel, I added your PPA to my Software Sources and installed them successfully. They show the right versions in Synaptic Package Manager.
Unfortunately it does not make a difference in either Mythbuntu 10.04 or Xubuntu 10.04. Both of these were fresh builds to remove any previous modifications. Note however that I have not installed any other available updates.
