I'm also affected by this bug. Though as mentioned in Pedro Villavicencio 's post, it also seems to me like a video issue.
Nautilus slowness is the most noticeable aspect of this bug, but it also affects others applications when displaying menus, resizing windows or opening files. Nothing is responsive, files and folders take ages to display, every action has a delay. On the other hand, 3d performance seems to be unaffected, blender runs smoothly for instance. I'm running a fresh installation of lucid, updated daily, on a laptop with nvidia proprietary drivers enabled (195.36.24). My video card is a GeForce GT 130M. Same result with visual effects turned on and off. Should I open another bug report ? Also please tell me if I need to provide any other information for this report. On a last note, I'd like to mention that I'm running lucid lynx on another laptop without problem, with a ATI card. -- nautilus running slow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/565193 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
