I am getting this same error. I have been running Karmic without problems through all versions of the kernel released for Karmic.
Upon upgrading to Lucid today, I started to see this message, and my mouse does not work at all. I upgraded to the 2.6.32-22 kernel from the 2.6.32-21 kernel that was installed during the upgrade, to no avail. Booting with the 2.6.31-21 kernel that was installed prior to upgrading to Lucid gets rid of the error and my mouse is working fine. I've attached uname -a, dmesg, and lspci -vvnn for both 2.6.31-21 and 2.6.32-22. I have a feeling it may be something related to the kernel config or something to do with other configuration files, but I'm no expert with linux USB support. ** Attachment added: "2.6.31-21 uname-a" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47856574/2.6.31-21-server.uname-a.log -- USB ports: connect-debounce failed, port disabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/88530 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
