Hi,
I tested with following upstream kernel:
linux-image-2.6.34-999-generic_2.6.34-999.201005011008_amd64.deb
The result was, that I wasn't able to boot.
After testing this kernel a friend found a solution for the problem, which
works, but don't really solve the problem.
When I comment the lines 327 to 330 in the file:
/usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-top/cryptroot
Thats these lines:
"# if [ "$cryptrootdev" = "yes" ]; then
 # # required for lilo to find the root device
 # echo "ROOT=$NEWROOT" >> /conf/param.conf
 # fi"
and run than an "update-initramfs -u -k all" I am able to boot with the kernels
2.6.34-999-generic
2.6.32-21-generic
2.6.32-18-generic.
I don't know from where the $NEWROOT gets its value, but i think that somewhere
there is a problem which changes the correct root-device.
