Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information.
As described in the description of the package, for most presets to work you need libavcodec-extra-52 (or libavcodec-unstripped-51 if you are using intrepid). Did you install that? Furthermore, we are missing the information about your system such as which version of Ubuntu are you running and which version of winff do you have installed. You can provide the information to this bug by typing/pasting "apport-bug -u 574075" in the window that you get by pressing <alt>-<f2> and following the instructions. If the compilation does work, but the result is bad, a bug should be reported (separately) against the ffmpeg package. Please use apport to report bugs, so that we get information about your configuration (by typing "apport-bug -p winff" in a console or in the window that you get after pressing <alt>-<f2>). ** Changed in: winff (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- winff avi fails ouput https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574075 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
