I have to say that I am astonished. I had exactly the same modules except libgl1-mesa-dev. the so file should be copied to /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/old_sis, and this is new to me, but true. I still can't compile the modules, either the original or the blog one. If you can, please post us your source, because I would like to sort this out.
