I'm just doing some searching and came across this one: 206952 (might be related since it's the same symptoms)
I have the same problem although pmi action suspend, /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force and pm-suspend don't work after I suspend once. Using 64 bit lucid on a Zotac ION board.
