I know about this repo, thanks for Your support. Maybe I'll try to switch to PulseAudio in some time, now I only know I had problems with it in Karmic so I switched to ALSA.
On the other hand, ALSA also sometimes causes problems - rarely, but it happened that I had to restart it using 'sudo alsa force-reload'. One thing makes me wonder - I have to set OSS output in Smplayer to play 720p videos (my hardware: Core2 Duo P8600, Intel GMA 4500MHD) because with ALSA output I cannot fluently move through the movie using arrows. It's funny because this 'OSS' is only an ALSA emulation of OSS... Nevertheless, I am worried that with PulseAudio output I could have more problems with 720p fluent playback. If only Intel supported VDPAU in their GMA cards... -- No sound in OpenArena with ALSA backend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572668 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
