Sorry if I wasn't able to return back to you about the problem I reported a month or two. My Ubuntu file is now working fine and i'm very much delighted switching to Ubuntu from Windows platform. I'm now using Ubuntu 10.04 and currently checking the improvement with this new version. But so far, I'm very much satisfied with the OS and never thought of reverting back to MS.
