"Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 1: helper failed with: Mount is denied because setuid and setgid root ntfs-3g is insecure with the external FUSE library. Either remove the setuid/setgid bit from the binary or rebuild NTFS-3G with integrated FUSE support and make it setuid root. Please see more information at http://ntfs-3g.org/support.html#unprivileged" I have tryed with no success $ sudo chown root $(which ntfs-3g) $ sudo chmod 4755 $(which ntfs-3g) Pleas advise! it is really annoying! ** Affects: ntfs-3g (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Unable to mount "Block Device" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572371 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
