Public bug reported: Hello,
when running the live CD of Ubuntu 10.04 go to system/administration/ install Ubuntu (or something like that.) When you hover your mouse on the install Ubuntu a message will pop up: Install this system permanently on to your hard drive This message can scare off new users because the ¨permanently¨ really makes it sound like you can´t delete Ubuntu afterwards. -Glenn de Groot ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: ubuntu-desktop 1.197 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Apr 30 09:47:47 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANG=nl_NL.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubuntu-meta ** Affects: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- scary message on live cd installing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572110 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
