Rhythm-box will play a pod-cast but at the end of the pod-cast when the video window should close the next pod-cast starts playing in the same windows but the video lags and there is no audio. After that pod-cast finishes the video window closes and the next pod-cast plays correctly in a new video window. This continues and every other pod-cast video plays correctly.
