I've upgraded empathy to 2.30.0.1-1+ppa9.10+1 Then:
1) I deleted all accounts but the AVAHI account. 2) Closed empathy. 3) Opened empathy. The wizard isn't shown. Correct behavior ... ... but 1) I have not tested with a fresh installation. How can I delete the whole empathy configuration in my home folder? 2) When I open the account dialog via the menu, the wizard is shown and I can't set the preferences for the existing AVAHI account. Wrong behavior.
