I made various tests this is what I can state:
1. Strange behavior: after a successful connection I can no longer Edit My
Mobile Broadband connection. It gives me an "Error Initialising editor
Insufficient privileges".But I can delete it.
2. Atfer deletion of my connection, if the modem is detected I have a chance to
select New Mobile Broadband (GSM) connection and recreate a connection. It
works from then on.
3. If the modem is not detected, to make it work again I have to re-install
modemmanager in Synaptic, even if it is there and installed.,it then detects
the modem and the rest is same as point 2.
