Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-applet
Indicator applet missing message applet with compiz enabled. Blank space where it should it appear. Also missing the network icon, again a blank space where that should be. Also spawns two indicator applet sessions side by side, with only one updating to the actual status, the other remains offline. With compiz disabled issue ceases.
