Just testing 20100427.1 installation. I decided to emulate what a newcomer might do: namely, try to install by double-clicking on the installer icon, find it doesn't work and then try the --no-migration- assistant option.
However, if I do that, migration-assistant is still active and can't be killed. Therefore, the installation still chokes on the "unable to unmount" stage. The only way around it is to reboot.
