Hi Jeremy, In the great British countryside broadband speeds aren't necessarily much above 'clockwork'!
I went to the DVD download and got an estimated download time of just under 2 days! I tried the CD image instead and that was 8 hours [fyi: best download speed achievable here is 30 kb/s]. I am awaiting the return of a friend currently stuck in New Zealand [thanks to ash cloud flight catch up delays] to download and post. Oh how I miss Canonical's 'request a CD' offering!!
