Yes, this still a problem. I installed the latest upstream kernel and it still doesn't resume correctly.
The first time I tried it, the caps lock indicator was blinking (kernel panic) and I couldn't even shut down the laptop by keeping the power button pressed. I had to unplug it. The second time, it behaved as previously, i.e. black screen and nothing works (no REISUB, no ctrl-alt-del). Keeping power button pressed turned the laptop off. After the reboot, I tried running the apport command you gave me, but got the following crash: ============= $ apport-collect -p linux 503485 Logging into Launchpad...
