** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg Since I've activated KDE SC 4.4's compositing, my X server crashes every couple of days. No advance warning, no apparent ill effects apart from having to log back in and redo every piece of work that wasn't saved. The screen goes blank, then switches to whatever tty was active before. Any sound output keeps playing for a couple of seconds (3-5) and the just stops. After I've logged back in, it takes another couple of days before the crash reoccurs.
